“Give unto the LORD the glory due His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” (Psalm 29 v 2)
Praise, amaze,
Give voice, rejoice!
Love shaped by mercy
Emanates from the Trinity.
One God in Three
Offer us love’s unity.
Christ Jesus comes to us
As God with us.
Amaze, amaze,
Praise, praise!
In Christ Jesus,
Is worship from us.
We are made joyous
By the Spirit of Jesus.
The industrious Purifier
Works hard to be the Sanctifier.
He draws us
Closer, closer to Jesus.
He shows Jesus’ victory,
Over satan, the enemy.
Herein is our security,
All thanks ever, ever be!
Jesus is life and love
Come from heaven above.
The graced gift of our Father,
Who would ever rather
We know mercy and compassion
Which by love will re-fashion.
A life given to Jesus,
Is to be led in holiness.
Amaze at its kindness,
The Lord God, most gracious!
We receive love’s perfection,
Prayer the connection.
Life is radically changed,
Priorities well re-arranged.
Love the message, love the means,
Christ’s light love beams.
Offer thanks for this,
Which is love’s bliss.
Love which is true
Offered me, offered you.
The love of Jesus,
Life enjoys fullness.
Hope, peace and joy,
His love’s employ.
That ever outreach of charity,
Jesus life here will be.
Offer your gratitude,
Appreciation your attitude.
Praise, amaze,
Give voice, rejoice!
Safety and security,
Our blessed sanctity.
Rejoice now especially,
Looking forward to eternity.
Holy love gifted,
We are uplifted.
By new life in Jesus,
Richly God blesses us.
Remain open to the Spirit,
Holy wisdom to inherit.
Proclaim Christ’s name
Ever the same
Supreme in authority,
Reflecting God’s mercy.
Offering us holiness,
Ensuring our good progress.
Why else the Spirit?
We share love’s merit.
All praise to the Trinity,
For holy love and mercy.
Dance and sing,
For the joy love does bring.
Do not look backwards,
Move in holiness forwards.
As children of Christ Jesus,
We make good progress.
Rejoice, rejoice,
With heartfelt voice.
Remarkably mighty,
Love is most worthy
Of all our praise,
Amaze, amaze!
“Praise Him in His holy house of worship, praise Him under open skies; praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His magnificent greatness.” (Psalm 50 v 1, 2 MSG)
“The day is Yours, the night also is Yours; You have prepared the light and the sun. You have set all the borders of the earth; You have made summer and winter.” (Psalm 74 v 16, 17)
And You made us! When we failed You, You did not give up on us, for You are the world’s sovereign power over all that is evil. “For God is my King from of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.” (Psalm 74 v 12)
“You open Your hand, life is filled with good,” (based on Psalm 104 v 28) especially as Father God, You gift us Your beloved Son to be our forever Saviour and the purifying, faith building, life enhancing Spirit, the glorified Lord Jesus sent to us.
“You hide Your face and we are troubled” (based on v 29) by all manner of evil. But because of the honourable, most precious sacrifice of our Saviour’s life, “You send forth Your Spirit, we are re-created” (Cont) and together working as a Trinity of love and mercy, we are redeemed.
“You renew the face of the earth” in all grace and fullest mercy of a steadfast truthful love. “May the glory of the LORD endure forever,” (v 11) because we have a Saviour and a Sanctifier.
“May the LORD rejoice in His works,” (v 31) wondrous works of salvation, our redemption and restoration to all grace and favour. I would then speak and sing praises to You, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, today and every day.
I delight to offer my worship through the Lord Jesus. “I will sing to You, LORD, as long as I live,” (v 33) I hope. “I will sing praise to my God while I have my being” (Cont) and I hope that will be forever.
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me bless His holy name!” (Psalm 103 v 1) as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the ever merciful, all loving Trinity. “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” (v 2)
The benefits are too many to count for they include every aspect of Your provision and protection, such a steadfast, always but always all loving kindness towards us, given in all compassion, patiently.
But notable amongst the blessings, the aspects to life which profoundly benefit us, is the saving plan of our rescue from satan, our deliverance from all that is evil, all that will harm us and irretrievably so, if we did not have a Saviour.
As it is however, we are loved back into wholeness, for our Saviour Brother is the Divine Healer, “Who forgives all our iniquities, heals all our diseases” (v 3) of irreverence, of disobedience, of false independence, that which is so mistaken.
Praise be for the Trinity, “Who redeems our life from destruction, who crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies our mouth with good things,” (based on v 4, 5) the transubstantiated bread and wine in the Holy Eucharist, making Christ Jesus actually present to us.
We are made righteous, our status as adopted children, belonging to the holy family has been justified at the † of the Lord Jesus. The loving mercy of the Trinity “Has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor
punished us according to our iniquities”. (v 10) What pity is shown to us in this love which knows no bounds nor limits, “So great is Your mercy” Almighty Trinity, “Toward those who reverence You.” (based on v 11)
“I will praise You forever, for what You have done,” (Psalm 52 v 9 NIV) to redeem and restore us to favour. “In Your name I will hope, for Your name is good” (Cont) signifying all loving, kindly mercy and an unstoppable compassion which makes saints out of sinners.
“I will praise You in the presence of Your saints.” (Psalm 52 v 9) “I will praise You, O LORD, with all my heart.” (Psalm 9 v 1) I hope to be able to “Tell of all Your wonders,” (Cont) so many to me and my family, thank You.
“I will be glad and rejoice in You” (Psalm 9 v 2) daily, so delighted to be enabled to do this, all thanks to the Spirit of praise who shapes our worship of You dearest Father, through expressing our admiration for the Lord Jesus.
I rejoice to praise You now. “I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High,” (Psalm 9 v 2) the life giving Trinity. And I hope to be enabled to do this eternally, for worship must be the joyous song we will sing in heaven, the plea being “Come, let us bow down and worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker” (Psalm 95 v 6) and Re-Creator.
But for now “Since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken” satan banished each time we call on the name of Jesus, “Let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and with awe.” (Hebrews 12 v 28) For Father, Son and Holy Spirit, You are “Great...and most worthy of praise.” (1 Chronicles 16 v 25) Amen.
