In the sacred Scriptures.

For here we encounter

The living God,

A Trinity of love and mercy.

A closeness of comfort,

A sense of security,

A haven of hope.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the (wo)man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for

every good work.” (2 Timothy 3 v 16, 17)

Lord, thank you for gifting us a portrait of Yourself; Your Son and Your Spirit, that we encounter all wisdom as well as truth in Your written Word. Please help us not just to read the sacred Scriptures, but to respond to Your teaching in prayer. Amen.
