TAKE A BREAK

Sue O’Donnell. 03.10.20

Take a break, make a walk or a ride in open countryside,

Where mid autumn glory does never hide.

You may find scenes of outstanding beauty

Or significant sights, notable in history.

October autumn colour holds a charm,

Find an estuary with boats bobbing on the calm.

Lochs, lakes and lagoons are inviting,

Whilst mazes, monuments and mystery are exciting.

Wherever you go, whatever the time of year,

To know in truth that God is near,

Will mean a result where you discover

More joys in life than you can number.

The question as to why this is reality

Is easy to answer for the Lord God is all majesty.

Anything notable, worthy of your attention,

Came about originally from the Lord of creation.

History, beauty in a world worth exploring,

Let us praise life’s Creator and be adoring.

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they, were created and have their being.” (Revelation 4 v 11 NIV) Amen.
