The Word

Is God,

In Jesus,

Seeking us.

The Word

Is stirred

Upon the heart

For faith

To start up.

The Word

Is heard

By the mind

To find wisdom.

“ ‘I am the way, the truth and the life’.” John 14 v 6

That Christ Jesus

Be found in us.

Jesus, the living God,

Speaking, seeking

By the Spirit.

So pray

And listen.

Listen and learn.

Then yearn

More and more

For the Word

To be effective,

Holy love most active.

“To do Your will is my desire,

To live in You, Lord, is my life;

To spread Your love through all the earth,

Source not known To find in You the joy of life.”

Please pray for the Word of God, the Lord Jesus, to be active in Your life through the Holy Spirit Amen.
