“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13 v 8)

We have a Saviour!

Ever the same,

He carries the blame.

The Lord Jesus died for us.

He accepted a †.

The price had to be paid,

Full restitution made

For mankind’s sinfulness,

That God could bless us.

High indeed is the price

Of justice with Jesus’ life.

No more to be done,

The battle was won.

It was at Calvary

We were set free.

Free from our brokenness,

Free to claim wholeness.

“(Be) hospitable a lover of what is good, sober minded, just, holy, self- controlled, holding fast the word as (s)he has been taught...” (Titus 1 v 8, 9)

Our help being in Jesus,

Who then sent the Spirit to us.

The Spirit of life

Lifts us above sin’s strife.

But we must co-operate,

Through prayer our efforts dedicate.

Rich will be the reward of eternity,

Coupled with hope and peace currently.

Who would want to miss out on this?

All seek a form of bliss.

Our answer lies in Jesus,

The Son of God befriending us.

Life is never the same

When we recognise His gain.

Jesus living in us,

This is the way to holiness.

“You shall increase my greatness and comfort me on every side.” (Psalm 71 v 21)

“I spread out my hands to You; my soul longs for You like a thirsty land.” (Psalm 143 v 6)
