“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us...” (Ephesians 3 v 20)

Let there be all glory, honour and praise.

Praise for what the Lord God does for us.

Praise for all the Lord Jesus accomplishes.

Praise for the gifting of the Holy Spirit of faith.

It is by faith we offer ourselves back to God,

Carried securely in the sacred heart of Jesus.

It is by faith we regard our Saviour Brother,

As the living hope of every fulfilled godly promise.

It is by faith we receive the anointing of the Spirit.

What is done for us is the favour won for us

At the †of our salvation, a healing.

What is done is accomplished entirely out of mercy.

What is done is through the new life gifted us.

The power that works in us is the amazing power,

The utterly life changing power of the Holy Spirit.

This power invites us into holiness.

This power is God’s gracious goodness poured out over us in Jesus.

“Oh give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 136 v 2)

According to the power that works in us,

The power of the Spirit of holiness,

We are daily led towards the Lord Jesus,

Learning how to prize His offer of friendship.

It is the power of holy love which calls us to worship.

This power is life giving, life changing, life renewing,

For this love is uplifting, inspiring and encouraging.

This power is no less than the Lord Jesus alive in us!

What an amazing grace and mercy is at work here,

Here when Jesus is with us in friendship.

This power is love in its entirety, a holy love

Which lives to give of self completely.

There is no greater love anywhere, never will be,

Than that of Jesus hanging on the † for us.

This power is an amazing grace of God,

The Father of every mercy, our Protector.

“The mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him and His righteousness to children’s children, to such as keep His covenant, and to those who remember His commandments to do them.” (Psalm 103 v 17, 18)

“The LORD has established His throne in heaven and His kingdom rules over all...Bless the LORD, all His works, in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul.” (Psalm 103 v 19, 22)

“Oh give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; talk of all His wondrous works!

Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD. Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His face evermore!

Remember His marvellous works which He has done, His wonders and the judgments of His mouth ...Sing to the LORD all the earth, proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.” (1 Chronicles 16 v 8-12, 23, 24)
