Look up, not down,
Smile, don’t frown!
All that is good
Goes round and round.
For God is with us
In Christ Jesus.
His Spirit of holiness
Reveals love’s purpose.
Holy love is infinitely strong,
It is to this we belong.
Walk on life’s sunny side,
Banish worries, make them hide.
Cultivate the power to see
Love even amidst any tragedy.
Trials come, trials go,
But love remains, you must know.
This life is a journey
On our way to heaven eternally.
Each day we pass through,
Let worries be but few.
For if you, with confidence pray
Help comes, day by day.
The blessings of seeking holiness
Is the resulting God given happiness?
Sow seeds of faith, of belief,
Holy love will offer wise relief.
Kindly actions, sincerely meant,
Good intentions are heaven sent.
In God’s friendship, seeds grow
Inviting hope and peace to flow.
Seeds of Christ’s friendship many a day,
Blossom and fruit in a godly way.
Faith shifts problems away,
Hope shining upon your way.
Shifting problem, worry and pain
As holy love will ever remain.
What power is in holy mystery,
Love the aim of the Trinity.
Pray to Him who holds life’s key
Pray and feel that you are free.
In Christ Jesus, freed from sin
By His Spirit, anew to begin.
Here love sets the daily task,
Pray, even not knowing what to ask.
God is ever well in charge
His grace and blessing to enlarge.
Love bringing the greatest happiness,
Is love working within Christ’s holiness.
Don’t get in a fret nor hurry.
Banishing sin, let go of worry.
Pray allowing God to work life out
Pray with praise, acclaim joy and shout!
Resolve to leave all hurt behind,
In Christ Jesus we gain a new mind.
Let your gaze now reach upwards,
Brighter, better times ahead of us.
You have life but once, it is now
That you learn to live and know.
Learn from Jesus your personal worth,
The very reason you were given birth.
Each of us given a special task,
Seek to find, pray to ask.
Squander not carelessly one minute away,
Time is blessed if you pray.
Work and pray to become fruitful,
A life of faith always useful.
What can we do for each other that is helpful?
The best is to ever spread the GOOD NEWS!
With whatever skill or talents you can use.
The best way to spread a message of hope
Is to work within faith’s widest scope.
Words of encouragement, help given
Is a foretaste of the joy of heaven.
Lord, I thank You for belief, prayer and the good news of salvation. May our new life in Christ Jesus, by the Holy Spirit ever be led to Your delight, praise, honour and glory. Amen.
