The Holy Spirit, Spirit of the Father and the Son

Has many attributes for our benefit.

The Spirit is our:

Counsellor

Comforter

Purifier

Advocate

Guide

Teacher

Inspirer

Friend

A G0-Between us and the Lord Jesus.

The Holy Spirit anoints us with every spiritual blessing,

In the Lord Jesus, the Word of Life.

The Holy Spirit gifts us friendship with Jesus.

He announces our Father’s mercy,

Compassion, forgiveness, steadfast loving kindness.

Ever gracious, the Holy Spirit works wonders.

He transforms our life by His love,

Purifying us to sanctify us.

The Holy Spirit enables our conviction

That Jesus as God’s Word, is Lord.

In the Spirit, with warm enthusiasm we proclaim:

“ ‘My Lord and my God’.” (John 20 v 29)

The Holy Spirit tests our faith,

Refining us by means of difficulties, dilemmas,

And the many ups and downs of challenges.

The Holy Spirit blesses us richly in Jesus,

Enabling us to have our being in Him,

So as to praise, please and honour our Father.

Just as without the Lord Jesus to help us,

To inspire and bless us in countless ways,

Without the Holy Spirit to safeguard and guide us,

All of our days until we reach our destiny,

Without such input we have no faith,

And could not, would not glorify God.

But empowered in our friendship with the Lord Jesus,

Activated and animated by the Holy Spirit.

“Whoever is wise will observe these things, and they will understand the loving kindness of the LORD.” (Psalm 107 v 43)

“A (wo)man has joy by the answer of his (her) mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!” (Proverbs 15 v 23)
