“This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8 v 10 NLT)
Every day is a sacred day when we pray.
We love, honour and adore You,
Holy Lord, living Word, love incarnate,
More and more we rejoice in You,
In the beauty of each human life
You come to make holy.
“Thank God! He gives us the victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15 v 57 NLT)
Throughout the wide world far and near
Your Holy Spirit does appear.
He develops a humble, reliant faith within us,
Totally trusting upon You, Lord Jesus.
In You, through to our Father of loving mercy,
We place our trust and dependency,
We long to serve You faithfully in response to Your kindness.
“For Christ must reign until He humbles all His enemies beneath His feet.” (1 Corinthians 15 v 25 NLT)
We bow before You obediently, reverently.
We praise and glorify the Trinity,
As we acclaim Your name, Lord Jesus,
Saviour and Redeemer, Shepherd and Brother,
The holy Son upon whom our favour is won.
We glorify and magnify the Lord God Almighty
Through the Most High, supreme majesty of love.
“So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.” (1 Corinthians 15 v 58 NLT)
Love is broadcast of the King of glory, the Lord Jesus,
As the Holy Spirit helps us to laud
And to magnify our Eternal Father,
At all times, in all places world wide,
Each and every day as we rejoicingly pray.
Constant gratitude our attitude of worship,
Rejoicing in all Lord Jesus, You become to us.
“ ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty – the One who always was, who is and who is still to come.” (Revelation 4 v 8 NLT)
“ ‘You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For You were slaughtered, and Your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. And You caused them to become a Kingdom of priests for our God, and they will reign on the earth.” (Revelation 5 v 9, 10 NLT)
Yes, all glory, honour, praise and thanksgiving ever be to the Almighty Trinity, made possible for us by the Lord Jesus and the prayerful , praise giving Holy Spirit.
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered – to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing.” (Revelation 5 v 12 NLT)
Lord Jesus, You are life to us, life in all fullness, and we rejoice in this love offering, gifting peace between us and our Father. You are our Saviour.
“Blessing and honour and glory and power belong to the One sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.” (v 15) Lord Jesus, You show us the way to live to delight and honour our Father.
You are our living hope because You are our forever Saviour, the Word Incarnate, true love gifted us at no cost to us. How truly marvellous is the generosity of holy love. We offer our thanks and praise to You and through You.
Lord Jesus, You are life to us in all fullness now, for You have revealed the meaning and purpose of life, which is to grow in holiness as our Father ever intended. You have defeated satan, our arch enemy seeking to disrupt and destroy us.
We claim Your eternal victory at the †, You are our Divine Healer being Saviour and Redeemer; You heal the sickness of all sinfulness, dying to gain us forgiveness. We name You as the King of Glory, the glory being us alive in You.
According to our Father’s mercy, the Holy Spirit seeks us out so You can weave us together in love’s finest tapestry of great beauty. Without You this would be impossible.
May we pray to see Your hand at work and to discern what part of this amazing, life changing endeavour You wish us to be a part of. May we put our time, efforts, resources, talents and skills to best use in the service of Your kingdom here on earth.
You are our Creator, the Holy Spirit the Weaver, our Father the Designer, and yet all three roles are interchangeable such as holy power and sovereign authority, such as holy Majesty, the splendour of Your hand at work.
May we each do our part to serve You and work through You, by Your Holy Spirit, wholeheartedly, optimistically, knowing the best is yet to be. There is no doubt about this.
Centuries ago St Julian of Norwich said “All will be well...all manner of things will be well.” This is our hope in turning to You, Lord Jesus, Master and Overseer. Make us fully yours, all to the glory of God as we share in Your creativity. Let us extend Your kingdom of love upon earth.
May our faith become fully alive, joyously so, intensely active, benefitting many as we work for You, with You and through You, always looking to Your Spirit for help, support, guidance and encouragement.
As You seek us, please speak to us in a way we can recognise and respond to readily. Our world is increasingly secular and hedonistic and this can be so disheartening. But with You alive in us, Lord Jesus, we can take the world by a storm of love, holy love.
We must go forward in Your plan, Your power, Your strength, Your wisdom, Your truth. Thank You that this is made ours as we pray and claim our belonging to You.
You are our life, our hope, our peace, our joys, our belonging to our Father in heaven, our sure hope for a better, brighter, holier future for mankind. In fact Lord Jesus, together with the Holy Spirit and of course, our Father, You are our only hope.
Thank You for coming to us as a Trinity of love and mercy, a complete power of holiness which profoundly blesses us, changing us always for the better, the holier. Please build us up in Your likeness.
May “The message about Christ, in all its richness fill our lives. Let us teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom You give. And whatever we do or say, may we represent You Lord Jesus, giving thanks to our Father, through You,” (based on Colossians 3 V 16, 17) the joy of heaven to earth come down.
Let all believers glory in Your perfect love, showing this by becoming Your obedient, reverent family, children who wonder, feel awe, for this is the well spring of praise. All that is beautiful in life belongs to the Trinity.
“O LORD, our LORD, Your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens. You have taught children and infants to tell of Your strength, silencing Your enemies and all who oppose You.” (Psalm 8 v 1, 2 NLT)
We have a Brother who is Conqueror over all that is evil, our awed inspiration! “What are mere mortals that You should think about them, human beings that You should care for them?” (v 4) Yet, all lovingly, O most holy Trinity, You do.
We must praise and exalt You forever. Your wonder fills the entire universe, Your beauty is everywhere, astounding us, thrilling and exciting us. And the kingdom of heaven upon earth is our delight, for You are the Peace Giver.
Turn the whole world back to belong to You, by Your Spirit, Lord Jesus, that we will know, love and serve our Father honourably, to His purpose and delight. Let us praise and exalt our Father above all of life, doing this forever.
Lord Jesus, You are our Prince of Peace, the King of Glory, a mighty Conqueror, delivering us from the power of the evil one, a truly outstanding love, such mercy revealed to us from our Father in heaven working through You, with You, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Lord Jesus, in all, with all, over all, open our hearts, minds, ears, eyes to see Your wonder as an almighty Trinity, our praise, our thanksgiving, our hope and trust, our overcoming in the world’s spiritual battles.
Make us fully attentive to Your still, quiet voice of calm, of uplift, of encouragement as our world rocks under the Corona 19 Pandemic and the upheaval in America as the Presidency changes from Trump to Biden.
Deliver us from all that is evil. Thank You for the long reign of a Christian Monarch in our country. Please continue to bless and uphold Queen Elizabeth II, keeping her completely safe at all times.
Heal us of all evil, Lord, heal us and we shall be healed. Save us and we shall be saved, for the Trinity is our praise. It is in Your presence we can say to our Father, although we have walked in sins of darkness we have seen a great Light in our Saviour Jesus.
We need to live in this love, in Jesus’ truth, purity, righteousness, uprightness, holiness, our graced blessing as beloved children chosen to live within Your all loving, eternal plan. May we ever be attentive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, rejoicing to offer our praise. Amen.
